You can update the time clock’s software and view the device ID from the Time Clock Management menu of the Time Clock.
To access the User Management Menu and/or the Time Clock Management Menu on the time clock as a supervisor or employee, the Role will need the corresponding time clock permissions set to Add/Update.
View and update the software version of the time clock:
- Authenticate at the time clock:
- Tap the screen and enter your personal PIN or the time clock admin passcode.
- Scan your Badge.
- Scan your fingerprint.
- If using your personal authentication method, tap Dashboard.
- Tap Time Clock Management.
- Tap Update Software.
- Tap the option to Update Software.
- If the software version is up to date, you will see "Your software is up to date." along with the current software version.
- A confirmation screen will appear once the software has successfully updated.
View the device ID on the time clock:
- Authenticate at the time clock:
- Tap the screen and enter your personal PIN or the time clock admin passcode.
- Scan your Badge.
- Scan your fingerprint.
- If using your personal authentication method, tap Dashboard.
- Tap Time Clock Management.
- Tap Update Software.
- The time clock will display the current device ID on the time clock as well as the current software version.
- Press the Power icon to exit the menu.
