As the account admin, you will want to be able to effectively manage the time clocks on your account. This article will walk you through how to remove or archive time clocks that are no longer in use.
To complete the steps in this article, you must be an administrator or have the necessary view and/or edit permissions enabled. If you believe you should be able to complete the steps and are not able to, reach out to your account administrator to discuss updating the settings for your Role.
Archive a time clock:
If you want to temporarily remove a clock from your active clock list, you can archive it rather than remove it. Once you're ready to begin using the clock again, you can unarchive it.
- Log into your Citadel web portal.
- Click on Time Clocks in the side menu.
- Click on the time clock.
- Select the Status and set it to Archived.
- Click Save.
Unarchive a Time Clock:
- Log into your Citadel web portal.
- Click on Time Clocks in the side menu.
- Click Status and select Archived.
- Click on the time clock.
- Select the Status and set it to Active.
- Click Save.
Delete a time clock from the account:
If you will be selling or otherwise getting rid of a time clock or have factory reset the device, you can permanently remove the device from the account.
- Log into your Citadel web portal.
- Click on Time Clocks in the side menu.
- Click on the time clock.
- Click X Remove.
- If you're sure you want to permanently remove the time clock, click Confirm.
