If you've forgotten or don't know the admin PIN for the time clock, you can locate your authentication PIN in your profile in the Citadel web portal. If you do not have access to this information, you will need to reach out to a supervisor or account administrator. Any user with a role that has the necessary Time Clocks permissions can access the time clock menus using their PIN, fingerprint, or badge.
To access the User Management Menu and/or the Time Clock Management Menu on the time clock as a supervisor or employee, the Role will need the corresponding time clock permissions set to Add/Update.
View your authentication PIN:
- Log into the Citadel web portal.
- Click on People in the side menu.
- Select your user profile.
- Under your name, click the Authentication tab.
- If you do not have a PIN or badge set up, you will need to add an authentication method.
View your Admin and Super Admin Passcode:
- Log into the Citadel web portal.
- Click on Time Clocks in the side menu.
- Select the time clock.
- The Admin Passcode and Super Admin Passcode will be listed.
A note on the Admin Passcode:
The Admin Passcode created by the account administrator during the clock's onboarding process should be a secure five-digit PIN and not shared. To change the Admin Passcode for the time clock, reach out to our support team for assistance, as this cannot be done from the cloud account or device and requires a factory reset.
