Roles and Permissions

Manage user capabilities and access levels in the Citadel Web Portal with Employee, Supervisor, and Administrator Roles. These roles determine the level of control and functionality each user has within the Citadel platform, including the ability to manage roles. Customize permissions for each role, allowing you to fine-tune access and define what actions users can perform.

Date Time Currency

Customize your experience by setting preferences for date format, currency type, time format, and minute format with the Date Time Currency Policy.

Pay Period

Efficiently manage your payroll cycles and time tracking by configuring your Pay Period Policy.

Pay Codes

View default pay codes and add or edit custom pay codes with your Pay Code Policy. This policy serves as the central hub for managing pay codes within your account to ensure accurate calculations and consistent application across your organization.

Overtime

Streamline overtime management and ensure compliance by configuring customized overtime policies that define rules and calculations for overtime hours. Set rates, thresholds, and eligibility criteria to accurately track and manage overtime compensation.

Breaks

Customize and enforce rules for rest breaks and lunch breaks with Break Policies. Define the duration, timing, and type of breaks, whether paid or unpaid, and choose between manual or automatic punches.

Punch Management

Easily manage user punching options across the web portal, smartphone app, and time clocks by setting up Punch Management Policies. Each user can have only one Punch Management policy assigned, which can allow for one or more types of punching. The policy can be assigned to users or departments, providing flexibility in managing your workforce.

Punch Rounding

Effectively manage time card calculations and align them with your payroll requirements by configuring Punch Rounding Policies. These policies define the rules for rounding punch times.

Accruals

Accurately track and manage employee accruals for various benefits such as vacation, sick leave, and personal time off by setting up Accrual Policies. Each user can have only one Accrual Policy assigned. For users with multiple benefit types, you can add accrual rules for each benefit within their policy. Accrual Policies can be assigned to either departments or individual users, allowing for flexible configuration.

Holidays

Holiday Policies allow you to establish rules for multiple holidays, determining whether they are paid or unpaid. You can create custom holidays, specify their dates, and set the associated pay codes. These policies enable administrators to easily manage holiday adjustments, ensuring accurate calculations and clear visibility of holiday pay on time cards.

Lockouts and Shift

Set up Lockout and Shift Policies to control punching and payment parameters. Lockouts restrict users from punching outside designated times, while Shifts define start and end times for shifts and establish punch zones. Only hours worked within the designated shift times are calculated, ensuring accurate time tracking and payment calculation.

Shift Differentials

Shift Differential Policies allow you to configure specific time ranges with corresponding modifiers, pay codes, and minimum hours worked. These policies provide the capability to establish shifts for groups of users that adjust the pay rate during specific time intervals.
